Well Greenville, today is the day. City Editor Stephanie here. Jan. 19 is my 31st birthday and to celebrate, I wanted to share my 31 favorite things in and about the city.

These are in no particular order, so no one needs to come for me.

Foster Paws Rescue | Check adoption locations on the site | Fun fact: I got my cat Soy Sauce from Foster Paws. We’re besties.

Breeze Airways flights directly to LAX from GSP | One of my best friends lives in LA, and it’s been great to be able to fly there on a budget + not have any pesky layovers.

The Mortadella from Harry’s Hoagie Shoppe | This delightful sandwich features Mortadella, mozzarella, arugula, pistachio aioli, and Calabrian chili oil.

Buffalo Banana hot sauce from Biscuit Head | Let’s be honest, there’s not a single thing I don’t love from Biscuit Head, but I could drink this hot sauce.

Old Skool Outfitter | I love vintage clothes, and I always find a gem when I shop here.

Iced Chai Latte from A20 Market Coffee Shop | I gave up coffee in January of 2023, and I’ve been drinking chai tea lattes since —this one is my favorite.

Boardwalk | My husband and I love stopping by Boardwalk and picking out a new game + chatting with the very knowledgeable staff.

Salmon lemon roll from SUSHI GO | This simple roll made with avocado, salmon, cucumber, and lemon is unmatched in my book.

Rock Quarry Garden | The Rock Quarry Garden is magical. It makes me want to have a tea party.

Shephards pie from Fork and Plough | Your girl is not a good cook, so I love stopping by Fork and Plough and picking up a pre-made Shephards Pie that I just throw in the oven.

El Camino Daddy from Willy Taco | This margarita with fresh-squeezed orange juice is the perfect happy hour cocktail.

Red Pandas at the Greenville Zoo | Trust me, they’re as cute as you think they are.

The Irish Pub | I love everything about the Pub from the sand volleyball courts to the bartenders to the food + drinks.

Fried pickles from The BlueFin | There’s not much in life that I think can’t be improved by a pickle.

The Mill House Martini from The Farehouse — Taylors Mill | This is my favorite cocktail in the Upstate. The bleu cheese stuffed olives and the smoked olive juice are to die for.

Aerial yoga at C.O.R.E. Grow Strong | It’s a really fun way to work out, and work out you will — I didn’t know it was possible to sweat so much doing yoga.

Pineapple cake from Brick Street Cafe | Put down your torches and pitchforks because I love the sweet potato cake, but have you ever had the pineapple cake?

Blind Tiger Tattoo Co. | Blind Tiger Tattoo Co. is the Village of West Greenville’s first tattoo shop and it is beyond cool.

The haunted Tuberculosis Hospital in Herdklotz Park | You can still see the original door to the basement, and it’s pretty unnerving.
