Well Greenville, today is the day. City Editor Stephanie here. Today is my 30th birthday and to celebrate, I wanted to share my 30 favorite things in and about the city.
These are in no particular order, so no one needs to come for me.

Foster Paws Rescue | Check adoption locations on the site | Fun fact: I got my cat Soy Sauce from Foster Paws. We’re besties.

The Mortadella from Harry’s Hoagie Shoppe | 1700 E. North St. | This delightful sandwich features Mortadella, mozzarella, arugula, pistachio aioli, and Calabrian chili oil.

Buffalo Banana hot sauce from Biscuit Head | 823 S. Church St., Ste. C | Let’s be honest, there’s not a single thing I don’t love from Biscuit Head, but I could drink this hot sauce.

Old Skool Outfitter | 123 S. Main St., Unit B | I love vintage clothes, and I always find a gem when I shop here.

Iced Chai Latte from A20 Market Coffee Shop | 26 Augusta St. | I gave up coffee in January of 2023, and I’ve been drinking chai tea lattes since —this one is my favorite.

Boardwalk | 1175 Woods Crossing Rd., Ste. 6 | My husband and I love stopping by Boardwalk and picking out a new game + chatting with the very knowledgeable staff.

Salmon lemon roll from SUSHI GO | 247 N. Main St. | This simple roll made with avocado, salmon, cucumber, and lemon is unmatched in my book.

French 75 from Six & Twenty Distillery | 556 Perry Ave., Ste. B103 | You can order this classic cocktail at almost any bar, but there’s something special about this one.

Rock Quarry Garden | No exact address | The Rock Quarry Garden is magical. It makes me want to have a tea party.

Shephards pie from Fork and Plough | 1629 E. North St. | Your girl is not a good cook, so I love stopping by Fork and Plough and picking up a pre-made Shephards Pie that I just throw in the oven.

El Camino Daddy from Willy Taco | 217 Laurens Rd. | This margarita with fresh-squeezed orange juice is the perfect happy hour cocktail.

Red Pandas at the Greenville Zoo | 150 Cleveland Park Dr. | In case you missed it, the Greenville Zoo welcomed some baby red pandas in August 2023 and they’re as cute as you think they are.

The Irish Pub | 214 N. Pleasantburg Dr. | I love everything about the Pub from the sand volleyball courts to the bartenders to the food + drinks.

Fried pickles from The Velo Fellow | 1 Augusta St., Ste. 126 | There’s not much in life that I think can’t be improved by a pickle.

Teddy Graham ice cream from Clare’s Creamery | Multiple locations | This ice cream with crushed Teddy Grahams holds a special place in my heart.

Local Cue | 30 Orchard Park Dr., Ste. 7 | Fun fact: I had my 25th birthday party there + I’m having my 30th there tonight.

Greenville’s tap water | Wherever you get your tap water in Greenville County | We have the best tap water. Any time I go out of state I miss it.

Bento box from The Bluefin | 401 E. Stone Ave., Ste. B | The classic bento box comes with a burger slider, a sushi roll, edamame, fries, gyoza, and a salad.

Aerial yoga at C.O.R.E. Grow Strong | 1501 E. North St., Ste. 100 | It’s a really fun way to work out, and work out you will — I didn’t know it was possible to sweat so much doing yoga.

Greenville Bike Taxi | Spot them around town | Call Greenville Bike Taxi and be chauffeured around in a pedi cab.

Greenville’s theatre scene | Various locations | Okay this is kind of cheating, but I can’t choose just one theatre.

Havarti dill pickle popcorn from Poppington’s Gourmet Popcorn | 30 S. Main St. | I could eat this and only this every meal for the rest of my life.

Pineapple cake from Brick Street Cafe | 315 Augusta St. | Put down your torches and pitchforks because I love the sweet potato cake, but have you ever had the pineapple cake?

Blind Tiger Tattoo Co. | 1282 Pendleton St., Ste. A | Blind Tiger Tattoo Co. is the Village of West Greenville’s first tattoo shop and it is beyond cool.

The haunted Tuberculosis Hospital in Herdklotz Park | 126 Beverly Rd. | You can still see the original door to the basement, and it’s pretty unnerving.

The Bear and the Bard mead from Wandering Bard Meadery | 1320 Hampton Ave., Ste. 3 | This varietal is infused with blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, making for a delightful drink.

Indie Craft Parade | Various locations | If you love handmade, local, and one-of-a-kind goods, you need to check out Indie Craft when it’s open in September.

Putt putt at Frankie’s Fun Park | 45 Park Woodruff Dr. | Can I play real golf? No. Am I good at putt putt? Also no. Is it fun? Absolutely.
