The architect says this will bring pedestrian activity to an area that doesn’t have much now.

A three-building development called 426 North Main has been proposed for the corner of North Main Street and Academy Street — the former Greenville City Municipal Court property + the American Legion property.

The designs feature:

  • Two 12-story mixed-use towers + one six-story residential building
  • 650 apartments
  • 20,000 sqft of commercial space
  • A public parking garage with 650-750 spaces
  • A public plaza
