Murals inspired by the Carolina Reaper (aka the Ghost Pepper) cover restaurant’s interior. The spooky design — featuring hidden details only eagle-eyed Greenvillians can spot — was painted with the help of SC muralists:

Now on to the food. Here’s what we tried:

🌽 Chips and dips

Pro Tip: Order the Three Buds to get a taste of all three. | Photo by GVLtoday

Mexican Street Corn | Off-the-cob, fire-roasted corn sautéed with garlic, jalapeños, lime, and red onion and topped with aioli, Cotija cheese, Tajín, and chopped cilantro — we could eat this by the spoonful.

Brussel Simmons (seasonal) | Housemade queso blanco with crispy shaved brussels sprouts topped with bacon and a balsamic glaze

Pineapple Guacamole | Guacamole topped with pineapple salsa and chipotle honey

🌮 The tacos

Blue Dream | Flour soft tortilla and a secret Kewl Ranch shell with queso blanco, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado ranch sauce

Sweet Heat | Flour soft tortilla and a hard corn shell with queso blanco, braised beef brisket, cilantro and onions, smoked cheddar, pineapple salsa, habanero-mango sauce, and chipotle honey

Pro Tip: You can build your own tacos, bowls, and nachos if the suggested fare doesn’t speak to you.

🍹 The drinks

Cactus Juice | We went the non-alcoholic route for this colorful, refreshing beverage, which paired perfectly with the subtle kick of the Mexican Street Corn.

Prickly Pear Margarita | Also sans alcohol, this is the perfect sipping drink on a warm day, and we can’t wait to taste it with tequila soon.

Pro Tip: If you love a marg like we do, try the House Flight with any three flavored mini-margs.
