66+. That’s how many films have been selected to be screened at the annual Reedy Reels Film Festival, presented by Piedmont Natural Gas. Grab your popcorn.

The festival

Running Friday, March 22-Sunday, March 24 at the South Carolina Children’s Theatre (153 Augusta St.), the festival will showcase screenings of short films, documentaries, and features in a variety of genres and styles.

In addition to the screenings, the festival will host filmmakers on site for post-screening Q+A sessions. Other festival events throughout the weekend include a Friday night reception, Saturday happy hour, and a Sunday awards ceremony reception.

The films

This year’s films will be shown in multiple sessions, including one dedicated to films made through Indie Grants, an SC-based program that provides production grants for narrative short film projects.
