Biltmore Walk’s linear park was designed to create harmonious spaces where residents and visitors can interact with the outdoors.

In case you missed it, the luxurious Biltmore Walk townhome community recently broke ground. The development includes brand-new green spaces and a linear park parallel to Biltmore Drive — and yes, it will be open to the public.

The park was designed by Knight Strategies and will feature three distinct zones, each with its own unique aesthetic and function.

Upper

The upper section of the park is located at the corner of Pearl Avenue and Biltmore Drive. A plaza, composed of brick columns and paving, will serve as the community’s entrance. Here, people will be greeted by Fen de Villiers’ sculpture.

It will also feature a rain and pollinator garden, with intertwining pathways, indigenous flora, and secluded benches.

Middle + Lower

The park’s central area will be a formal lawn space for community engagement and casual recreation. Think: Frisbee, cornhole, dog walking, and outdoor events.

The lower part of the park will have curved boulder walls, indigenous vegetation, seating with scenic views, and a winding pathway outlining a pre-existing creek.
