Have you seen little black dresses around town this week? The Junior League of Greenville’s Little Black Dress Initiative is happening now through Fri., Nov. 11. Its purpose? To illustrate the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources. JLG advocates are wearing one black dress (or outfit) all week to symbolize the discomfort of having limited resources — and to spark conversations about poverty + related issues.

Those interested in supporting JLG’s mission-based programs can make a donation.
