What’s that hopping down the trail? It’s six large rabbit sculptures coming soon to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail in Travelers Rest.

Launching this May, the “Beyond the Burrow” initiative is looking for local artists to transform these sculptures “with vibrant, imaginative designs that capture Travelers Rest’s journey — from a quiet stop on the way to the mountains to a thriving destination bursting with creativity, culture, and community spirit.”

Proposals are due Monday, Feb. 24 + selected artists will be notified by the end of the month. See all guidelines (and the template) and sponsorship details.
