Ever have one of those days where you find something on the internet that takes you down a complete rabbit hole? Well, that was us yesterday.
Our team stumbled across a tool that lets you see aerial images of the City of Greenville from as far back as 1955 – so naturally we spent an hour of our morning checking out the progression of some of the most recognizable parts of the Upstate over the last 60+ years.
The tool is called the Historical Imagery Viewer on the City of Greenville’s website. Here’s how it works: you type in an address or location, then use the slider to see how land usage + development have played out in the area. We’re giving you a preview of some of the spots we looked at – so you don’t have to forgo your morning productivity.
