When you turn on “Top Chef” next season, you’ll recognize the backdrop because the hit Bravo cooking competition is headed to our hometown. Season 23 will be “centered in” Charlotte (hey, CLTtoday) with “several episodes” in Greenville.

“Charlotte and Greenville are perfect chefs’ playgrounds fueled by exceptional local ingredients, bold flavors, a strong agricultural foundation, stunning natural landscapes, and the warm, genuine hospitality the South is known for,” said Ryan Flynn, the senior vice president, Current Production, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.

The chefs will test their technique, imagination, and ability to highlight local flavors during Quickfire and Elimination Challenges, and you’ll see them filming beginning later this summer for a 2026 premiere.

“We’ve long known that Greenville’s food scene could hold its own on a national stage,” VisitGreenvilleSC President + CEO Heath Dillard shared. “Hosting ‘Top Chef’ here is both validation and a celebration. We’re thrilled to see our culinary community in the spotlight.”
