Greenville Technical College’s next era of innovation and growth is here. After a comprehensive year-long search for the ideal candidate, GTC welcomed its new president, Dr. Larry Miller, on July 1.

A proven track record

With a PhD from The Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a background in education policy and finance, Dr. Miller brings 25+ years of experience in higher education.

Dr. Miller plans to build on the strong legacy established by former GTC presidents. His top priorities are to:

  • Equip students with relevant skills they can apply in the workforce
  • Provide education options that lead to high-demand, high-paying careers
  • Expand access to education to support economic mobility and fuel the economy
