Greenville Technical College’s next era of innovation and growth is here. After a comprehensive year-long search for the ideal candidate, GTC welcomed its new president, Dr. Larry Miller, on July 1.

A proven track record

With a PhD from The Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a background in education policy and finance, Dr. Miller brings 25+ years of experience in higher education.

The best part? He’s already familiar with the GTC community. As the college’s previous vice president of learning and workforce development, Dr. Miller delivered significant results, like:

Focused on the future

Dr. Miller plans to build on the strong legacy established by former GTC presidents. His top priorities are to:

  • Equip students with relevant skills they can apply in the workforce
  • Provide education options that lead to high-demand, high-paying careers
  • Expand access to education to support economic mobility and fuel the economy
