Bring your good times, and your laughter too, for this year’s Celebrate Anderson Festival at the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center on Sunday, Aug. 31.

Here’s everything you need to know about the family-friendly festival.

Before the concert

  • Parking and admission are free, with local vendors and food trucks available all day.
  • From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., join the Shock City Jeep Club for Jeep Extravaganza, a free car show featuring 300+ Jeeps.
  • Look up. The Hot Air Affair will also take place during the festival, where 30+ balloons will decorate the sky.

Get down on it

  • Doors open at 5 p.m. for Kool & The Gang at the William A. Floyd Amphitheater.
  • The concert is free, but tickets are still required and are expected to sell out.
  • If you secure lawn tickets, be sure to bring picnic blankets + lawn chairs.
  • Stick around for fireworks after the show.
