This week, Greenville City Council got an update on Phase II of a master plan focused on transportation needs downtown, identifying projects that will:
- Enhance traffic flow
- Reduce congestion
- Improve safety
- Promote alternative modes of transportation
Phase I’s plan was completed in 2019 focused on 28 short-term, relatively low-cost projects that have been completed or are currently underway, like improvements to the Cultural Corridor. It also identified seven corridors that they’d like to take a closer look at as part of Phase II.
What’s on the Phase II list?
