Make those reservations. Restaurant Week South Carolina kicks off Thursday, Aug. 24 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 3.

Whether you’re looking to try something new or visit an old favorite, participating restaurants offer special deals to entice Greenvillians to get out and eat local.

Here are five spots with menu offerings we can’t wait to taste:

White Wine & Butter, Cartwright Food Hall, 215 Trade St., Greer

Fresh off his appearance on Food Network’s “Guy’s Grocery Games,” Chef Mike Siebert is offering three courses for $25 — and the main course is what he made for the show.

Between The Trees, The Grand Bohemian Lodge, 44 E. Camperdown Way, Greenville

We’ve been looking for a reason to head back to Between the Trees, and this menu featuring four first courses + four second courses to mix-and-match our perfect dinner for $50 per person seems like the perfect excuse.

Scoundrel, 18 N. Main St., Greenville

We were excited to see some of our favorite dishes on Scoundrel’s Restaurant Week menu this year. If we were building our perfect dinner with these options, we’d go with the escargots + the coulotte steak frites with duck fat frites and sauce au poivre.

Fork and Plough, 1629 E. North St., Greenville

The variety on Fork and Plough’s menu got our attention, which is why we had to put it on our list. Choose from five starters, five main courses, and four desserts.

Urban Wren, 116 N. Markley St., Ste. 102, Greenville

We got a sneak peek of Urban Wren’s menu before it was released, so keep your eyes on the official Restaurant Week site when it drops. For $70 per person, get ready to taste dishes not on the current menu: seabass crudo, semolina dumplings, poulet rouge, lamb loin, and blackberry panna cotta with powders and paints.
