The Music in the Woods stage was damaged by Helene in fall 2024, and now the park and its supporters are working to rebuild.

It’s been a few years since local and regional artists hit the stage at Paris Mountain State Park for a solar-powered music series. Before Hurricane Helene, Music in the Woods was a Greenville fall tradition.

Friends of Paris Mountain (a local 501C3 supporting the park) launched a Raise the Stage fundraiser to replace the amphitheater, which was first built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

The hope is to open in fall 2026, just in time for Music in the Woods, and you can support the build by sponsoring a personalized cedar plank for $50.
