International Ballet wraps its 23rd season with “Coppélia” at the Peace Center’s Gunter Theatre Friday, May 1-Saturday, May 2.

This lighthearted story ballet follows Swanhilda, her fiancé Franz, and eccentric inventor Dr. Coppélius. Principal guest artists and upstate natives Logan Acker and Michael Agudelo of Ballet San Antonio lead the cast of 22 local dancers ages 14-18 who train and perform with International Ballet in Greenville. The sweetes part? Each child receives a free cake pop at intermission.
