A boutique hotel and unique hospitality experience is in the early planning stages for the former Cafe and Then Some building.

Greenville-based Aileron Management wants to preserve the century-old structure’s charm while introducing a:

  • 17-room hotel
  • Restaurant
  • Rooftop bar
  • Speakeasy

Design plans draw inspiration from early-20th-century Art Nouveau architecture, with details meant to reflect the building’s past while adding a fresh sense of personality.

Developers expect to present updated plans to the city’s Design Review Board this April.
