If you’ve found yourself driving down Laurens Road, you’ve probably noticed the construction at the corner of Laurens Road + Blair Street (just down from Home Team BBQ).

Meet Basecamp, a “collaborative community of medical practices, fitness studios, and restaurants.” We’re sharing updates on the development since it broke ground in May, including new tenants + an anticipated opening date.

Basecamp’s back building (formerly 11 Blair St.) has two tenants: Upstate Spine & Sport (offering services like chiropractic + massage therapy) and Spruce MD Integrative Medicine (offering a variety of services, from primary care to consultations on specific health issues). This section of Basecamp is on schedule to open in mid-October.

The side building will house four tenants (starting from the space closest to Laurens Road):

The 07: If that naming looks familiar, it’s because it is. The owners of The 05 + The 05 Express Kitchen, including Geno Iozzino, are opening The 07 (29607 zip code) in Basecamp’s front space. With a tentative December opening, The 07 plans to serve lunch and dinner and feature a couple familiar dishes (including a dedicated vegetarian and vegan menu), but plans to have offerings unique to this new location.

Alloy Personal Training: At this gym franchise, group workouts meet personal training — class sizes are smaller and personalized, but offer the ability to train alongside peers.

HOTWORX: This 24-hour fitness studio (also a national franchise with 200+ locations and one in Clemson) hosts virtual workout classes, including an isometric workout or HIIT session (each 15-30 minutes), within a saunacombining heat, infrared, and training.

The fourth space’s tenant is to be determined, but could house one of a variety of business types, from a coffee shop and juice bar to an office and salon. We’ll be sure to share an update when the last tenant is confirmed.
