United Way of Greenville County is aiming to raise $17 million in 2017 to benefit local nonprofits and community programs.

A discussion has grown over the disparity between different parts of Greenville – our downtown is thriving, but that’s not always true for surrounding areas + communities. Money from this campaign will work to support United Way’s work to build a “Cycle of Success.” (And helped more than 100,000 in Greenville last year).

If they reach $17 million, it will be a new record. In 2015, the organization raised $16.7 million + in 2016 they reached $16.5. 2016 (a state record).

Already, local businesses like Fluor, GHS, + Michelin have raised almost $4 million dollars for United Way. Want to help? Here’s how.
