Court Street could look completely different in the near future after design plans were approved to transform a private parking lot into an eight-story building. The 0.4-acre parcel is right next to 300 E. McBee Ave. (home to Prisma Health, Lima One Capital, STIR, and others), which underwent a major renovation last year.

That’s not the only potential change: Last month, I told you the City of Greenville is thinking about turning part of East Court Street into a pedestrian-only area with an all-weather market and event structure between Main Street and Falls Street.

What do you think of the proposals to transform this area just off Main Street? Drop your thoughts in the comments of this article.
