Have you ever wanted to live in a place surrounded by history? It’s easy to do that in Greenville, with so many of our historic mills being redeveloped into apartments. Woodside Mill, which during its operation was the largest textile mill under one roof in the world, is one of those redeveloped mills in the Village of West Greenville.

We had the chance to spend “a day in the life” as a resident at The Lofts at Woodside Mill, and it’s safe to say we’re ready to sign our lease. Here’s how our stay went and how you can schedule a tour to Try This for yourself.

What we tried (with pricing):

We did our best to take advantage of everything the Lofts at Woodside Mill has to offer — which is a lot.

We stayed overnight in their model loft and felt right at home. We soaked up all of the amenities: worked in the coworking space, sat out in the sunshine by the pool, hung out and chatted with other residents in the clubroom, and went out for lunch and dinner in The Village, which is just a quick ~10 minute walk from Woodside Mill.

Tours to view the lofts are free, and their different floor plans range from $1,350-1,755.

What not to miss:

If you didn’t want to, you’d rarely have to leave your loft home again. Not only are The Lofts at Woodside Mill a short walk from the Village, Woodside Bistro will be opening Nov. 1 right on the property. Dinner plans with friends secured. Plus, there’s a soon-to-be-announced brewery coming to the development.

What we’re still talking about:

Um, those tall ceilings and all of that natural light. 😍The lofts really are stunning — with cozy brick and brand new appliances, it made all of our “living in a loft New Girl-style” dreams come true.
