What not to miss

The exhibit’s entry sign that reads, “Time to relax in a comfy space,” means what it says. Crawl or climb into one of the floor-to-ceiling book nooks, each with cozy lighting and cushions.

What we’re still talking about

The wall art — we felt immersed in a dark, fantasy-like forest, thanks to the hand-painted designs throughout the space. Plus, we’re feeling inspired to read on a whole different level after being surrounded by these quotes:

  • “Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.” — Frederick Douglass
  • “Reading is a passport to countless adventures.” — Mary Pope Osborne
  • “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” — Margaret Fuller.
