What’s going on at Plush Mill?

We do love seeing GVL’s old mills getting new life – especially when it means that we can escape our office for a cozy couch + unlimited coffee from West End Coffee Roasters. Plus the aesthetic of the exposed brick in Plush Mill is too perfect.

Serendipity Labs has coworking locations all over the country but this is the first one in South Carolina (so far – lookin’ at you CHS.) The space is designed to encourage “serendipitous interactions” and connections between large companies, mobile professionals, and independent workers.

So what does membership look like? There are options for full-time + part-time coworking in private offices, dedicated desks, and team rooms. Membership options also include access to the work lounge, meeting rooms, wellness rooms, the Lab Café, and visual studios with audio/video capabilities (which is prime for business meetings and planning sessions).

Larger companies can reserve a “neighborhood to themselves” where employees can work near each other, along with perks like centralized billing and contract flexibility for easy reassignment of memberships.

Keep up with opening dates + upcoming events here + watch Serendipity Labs’ Instagram story on Oct. 22 for the GVLtoday takeover. Want to see it for yourself? Contact Serendipity Labs to schedule a tour of the space.
