I love our parks (all 34 of them), and who doesn’t? Well, apparently everyone does, and our parks are often at max capacity. According to City manager John Castile, Cleveland Park is feeling the heat, and needs additional space.

Solution: The Cleveland Park Stables and City Park. With nearly $5.7 million available in the capital improvement budget, the city plans to start City Park in phase 1 and then develop Cleveland Park Stables soon after. The city doesn’t expect to break ground until spring 2018, but City Park hopes to “transform downtown Greenville’s western flank.”
