Soccer is hitting the Upstate in a big way in 2019. Last month, we gave you the inside scoop on Greenville Football Club; Now there’s another huge announcement in the world of Upstate futbol: The United Soccer League (USL) Division III franchise is bringing professional soccer to the Upstate – their first season will kick off in March 2019. The two teams are in different leagues, so it’s totally okay to love both.

The group of owners, led by Joe Erwin, Doug Erwin (operating manager + football aficionado) and their team at Erwin Creates, are currently scoping out spaces to either renovate an existing location or build a new stadium, as well as deciding on a team name, colors and logo.

Speaking of team names, the team owners want our help choosing a name.
