Soccer is hitting the Upstate in a big way in 2019. Last month, we gave you the inside scoop on Greenville Football Club; Now there’s another huge announcement in the world of Upstate futbol: The United Soccer League (USL) Division III franchise is bringing professional soccer to the Upstate – their first season will kick off in March 2019. The group of owners, led by Joe Erwin, Doug Erwin (operating manager + football aficionado) and their team at Erwin Creates, are currently scoping out spaces to either renovate an existing location or build a new stadium, as well as deciding on a team name, colors and logo.

Speaking of team names, the team owners want our help choosing a name.
