You heard it right, President Donald Trump is headed to Greenville Monday, October 16, according to the Post and Courier.

Why? He’ll be campaigning for Gov. Henry McMaster’s 2018 election bid as he’s facing Catherine Templeton, who is apparently posing quite the fundraising threat to McMaster. (McMaster was one of the first to back Trump’s 2016 campaign).

He’ll be speaking alongside Governor McMaster at the Embassy Suites at Verdae starting at 6:30 p.m. and tickets to the event are going for $250. Greenville groups in opposition of Trumps presidency will be hosting a rally in Falls Park starting at 5:30 p.m.

The President has been no stranger to South Carolina since his election, as he spoke at Boeing back in February (787 Dreamliner jet release) + met with the Clemson Tigers at the White House for their National Championship ceremony.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that he’ll be drawing a huge crowd. Be cautious traveling through Verdae Blvd. Monday afternoon.
