Plans approved for Water Tower Crossing in Greenville, SC

The 1.3+ acre development will feature a mix of residential and non-residential tenants.

Final development plans for Water Tower Crossing (1007 Hampton Ave) were approved by the City of Greenville Planning Commission last week.

The 55-unit mixed-use development will feature six affordable units, five workforce units, and 44 market rate units, and 3,725 sqft dedicated to non-residential tenants. Plans also include the preservation + rehabilitation of the Thompson Automotive Building, which was named Greenville’s first official local landmark last October.

Non-residential tenants have not yet been confirmed for the property, but options like:

  • Short term guest rentals
  • Live-work units
  • Artist studios
  • Market
  • Restaurant
  • Barber or beauty shop
  • After school care
