Food for a cause? Sign us up. Dine out for Mom — an annual event rasing money for local non-profit Let There Be Mom — returns to Greenville on Thursday, Oct. 24. Participating restaurants donate 20% of their sales for the day to this cause. All you have to do to help is eat.

What is Let There Be Mom?

This local organization helps parents with terminal illnesses leave lasting memories for their kids after they’re gone. From staging a senior prom to making a quilt with old t-shirts as a keepsake, Let There Be Mom finds ways to create memories that might not otherwise happen.

What restaurants are participating?

This year, 165 Upstate restaurants are participating by donating 20% of their revenue for the entire day to the cause. Dine-in, carryout, catering, and gift card purchases all count.There’s also a raffle you can enter, and the prize is a gift card to all 165 restaurants. Here are a few examples:
