Whether you’re looking to try something new or visit an old favorite, participating restaurants offer special deals to entice Greenvillians to get out and eat local. Here my five Editor’s Picks for the summer 2025 lineup:
With the cacio e pepe on the Restaurant Week menu, I’m sprinting to the Jianna bar for happy hour. Plus, the beloved ricotta crostini is an eligible starter.
The changes at Maestro recently blew me away, so Restaurant Week is the perfect time for you to pop in and see them for yourselves — and taste three courses for $52.
This list is subject to change because several restaurants still haven’t dropped their menus yet, so bookmark the full lineup and keep checking back.

The YMCA of Greenville provides a safe, nurturing space where K5-8th graders can learn, play, and grow. From 2:15 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, kids receive homework assistance, engaging enrichment activities, and a healthy snack — giving you the peace of mind to focus on your workday.
Plus, the Y offers pick-up from several local schools, so you don’t have to worry about transportation.
A six-month test is underway to widen a busy 450-foot section of the Swamp Rabbit Trail near Cleveland Park, adding two feet of permeable gravel pavers on each side. The goal: Improve comfort and durability without expanding the trail’s right-of-way. If you have feedback, scan a QR code posted in the area. (The Post and Courier Greenville)
Eat
The Black Sheep, a new Mediterranean restaurant in Main + Stone, is now open for dinner service Tuesday-Saturday and brunch on Sunday. We got an early taste, and our must-try dishes are the zucchini and the chicken thighs. What else is new?
Biz
The Lazy Goat is temporarily closed until Sept. 10 as it undergoes a kitchen renovation. The Table 301 restaurant will soon share its current space with a new fine dining concept from the hospitality group, with Chef Nico Abello at the helm.
Opening
The Bridal Loft will open in early September in The Village between The Anchorage and Kuka Juice. The appointment-only boutique features handpicked gowns from designers worldwide.
Announced
Clemson fans can still storm the field after games, but only after the alma mater finishes playing. New ACC rules fine schools up to $200,000 if it happens too soon, and enhanced security will enforce the delay this season. Plus, the LSU opener marks the start of alcohol sales at Memorial Stadium. This former Elphaba in “Wicked” finished her iconic Broadway run in March + closed out the SC New Play Festival with a cabaret on Sunday night. In her retirement, she has become an avid golfer, so I’m hoping to see her back in town for the BMW Charity Pro Am. She tells me she’s on board.
🎭 Fun fact: She originated the role of Janis in the “Mean Girls” national tour and took her final bow here at the Peace Center.
