Greenville County Council has approved changes to development and land regulations. Prospective developers will now be required to prepare plans to make sure their work won’t interrupt traffic or disrupt public transportation, but some of those developers felt left out.

Some argued that trees and other natural vegetation would be ripped out due to newly required fencing, however, many felt that the changes would really benefit our fast-paced development and help to better organize it all.

The residents of Five Forks have had enough of the havoc these developments have on commute times, road conditions, increased traffic conditions and the overall footprint of litter and trash along the roads,” said one speaker who was in favor of the amendment.
