The Farehouse — with a location at Taylors Mill serving up lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch — is opening a new location in September.

Located in the former J Peters space in Fountain Inn at 111 N. Main St., the restaurant will be franchised by Yogi Patel, a local businessman whose profile includes the Bohemian Bull locations in Mauldin and on Pelham Road + Yogi’s Cups and Cones in Simpsonville and coming soon to BridgeWay Station.

The brokerage team that helped lease the space, Reedy River Retail at SVN Blackstream, told the Upstate Business Journal that Yogi is working with Michael and Cristy Marut, the owners of the Taylors location, to bring the concept to The Golden Strip.

The Space

The word that comes to mind when peeking inside the Main Street location is cozy. With a wood accent ceiling, brick walls, and black features, the new space is warm and inviting. We’re excited to sip a cocktail and snack on some shareables when the location opens this fall.

The Menu

Your favorites from The Farehouse in Taylors Mill are making their way to the Golden Strip. Get ready for a menu filled with:

  • Sandwiches
  • Salads
  • Pasta
  • Pizza
  • Entrees (think: steak, smoked pork belly, grilled salmon, seared duck, and shrimp and grits)

The drool-worthy brunch menu from Taylors has a few of our favorites we hope also make it to the new location.
