Thursdays just got more lively. Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive returns this week with live music, local art, and more family-friendly fun in NOMA Square’s beautiful outdoor space.

Every Thursday (now through Aug. 28), the street will close from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for Greenvillians to walk and dance around the block between East North and College streets. Visitors can expect two live music sets from local bands at 5:50 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. This event is free to attend + drinks and food are available for purchase.

Also back this year is Arts After Dark, a market where local fine arts vendors will showcase their work and host demonstrations every third Thursday of the month. Hey artists — you can still apply to be a vendor.

The best part? Attending Downtown Alive supports Greenville’s arts community and culture because proceeds benefit the Metropolitan Arts Council’s programs and services.
