🎨 Bring out your inner artist

  • Picasso’s got nothing on you. Bring out your best painting skills — with a little help from a glass of pinot noir at Vino & Van Gogh (1818 Augusta St.).
  • Bring your appetite for this one. Grab a partner and craft the perfect sushi rolls, pasta, or dumplings at any number of classes at The Cook’s Station (515 Buncombe St.), then eat your own creation. (Pro tip: Sign up early because these classes sell out fast.)
  • Step up to the challenge. Get your groove on + learn a few killer moves like the Foxtrot, Salsa, or Carolina Shag at a dance class with Carolina Ballroom Dance Studio (475 Haywood Rd.).
🤿 For adventurous souls

  • Climb your way around this adventure course in the trees featuring 58 different obstacles and ziplines. Show your strength + put those muscles to work at Flying Rabbit Adventures (821 Laurens Rd.).
  • Let’s go, speed racer. Test out your racing skills at record-high speeds with indoor go-karts at Speed Factory (1524 Roper Mountain Rd.), which boasts the “fastest indoor karts in SC”
  • Bring out your inner lumberjack. If you ever thought throwing an axe sounds like more work than fun, you’re so wrong. Stick it to different targets at Craft Axe Throwing (1320 Hampton Ave.).
🍸 Not-your-ordinary dinner + a movie

  • Inspector Jacques Clouseau reporting for duty. Play detective for a night at The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show, where you’ll be seated among potential suspects in the form of fellow diners while enjoying a four-course meal at the Hilton Greenville Hotel (45 W. Orchard Park Dr.).
  • Fine wines only, please. Skip the ordinary glass of wine with dinner. Experience true wining + dining with a five-course meal paired with five white wines from different regions of Italy at The Anchorage (586 Perry Ave.).
  • Tapas and tequila go together like music and dancing. Dance the night away after feasting on tapas and paella at Abanico Tapas Bar, Restaurant, and Music (21 E. Washington St.).
  • Laughter is truly the best medicine. Come out where the comedy is served with a side of lagers at The Comedy Zone (221 N. Main St.).
