Let it grow, let it grow, let it grow. Last year (we still think it’s crazy to say that, too), we shared some Greenville winter gardening tips + asked if you had any cold-weather gardening success stories. Here are a few:

“We start prepping the garden dirt early in the fall and it works well for us. Our okra, peppers, red potatoes, and peas were divine. The okra provided great harvests right up to November and grew to over eight-feet tall. The snap peas and cow peas we grew this year were divine and Amadeus (the lovely blue bird) helped in the garden daily.” — Jeff and Judi B.

“I wanted to share how thrilled I am with my winter garden this year. I decided to take advantage of the milder weather and planted a variety of vegetables, including broccoli, mixed lettuce, brussels sprouts, radishes, and mustard greens. Everything has been growing so well, and I have been enjoying the fresh, homegrown produce.”
