The National Retail Federation has estimated that 164 million Americans will shop between Thanksgiving evening and Cyber Monday. It’s definitely the biggest shopping weekend of the year, so here are some of the deets on the deals.
Here are a few local deals going on for this Black Friday:
- Mast General plans to offer deals both in stores and online – online sales will start on Thanksgiving Day but the store will be closed until Friday.
- BI-LO is hosting a Black Friday/Star Wars event from 3 – 5 p.m. at 101 Verdae Blvd with Star Wars themed activities, photo opportunities with Stormtroopers, face painting, live music + samples. Everyone dressed in a Star Wars costumes will be entered to win a $100 BI-LO gift card.
- The Greenville Drive Team Store will have all their game gear 30% off from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Haywood Mall has a LOT of deals here.
- Horizon Records will be hosting a sale on LP’s, cassettes + CDs starting at 9 a.m.
But the best deal this week is definitely that all city-owned parking garages and the West Washington Street deck will be open + free starting on Thanksgiving Day at 6 a.m. through Black Friday. (Here’s a listing of all the Greenville City-owned parking lots.)
