A Greenville local will soon make her Off-Broadway debut in “All the World’s a Stage”

Eliza Pagelle will star in “All the World’s a Stage,” a show she read for during the South Carolina New Play Festival in 2024.

During the 2024 SC New Play Festival, Greenville actress Eliza Pagelle played the role of Sam during the reading of “All the World’s a Stage.” Now, she’s making her Off-Broadway acting debut, originating the role in New York City.

The musical is about a small-town math teacher coaching a “misfit” student for the 1996 State Thespian Convention (yes, those do exist) whose life starts to go awry thanks to a devout school secretary.

Pagelle refined her talent at the Fine Arts Center + the SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, and starred locally in Warehouse Theatre productions + nationally at the Texas Shakespeare Festival and Tennessee Shakespeare Company.
