952 artist applications. 5 jurors. 135 visual artists chosen for this year’s Artisphere festival, presented by TD Bank. The lineup of visual talent includes 35 artists who are brand new to the festival (with 20 first-time applicants) and 16 Greenvillians. Whew – we’re clearly pros in paint by numbers.

The free festival is coming to Main St. May 10-12, bringing with it everything from a new culinary lineup to fan-favorite Art in Action painter Brian Olsen. While the footprint hasn’t changed, many venues are in new places this year, so you may find your old favorite in a new locale.

There’s seriously so much to explore – including a Clemson STEAM exhibit and Kidsphere’s interactive music and art stations where your tots can get hands-on.

Paintings, ceramics, and jewelry aren’t the only kind of art on display at Artisphere – you’ll definitely want to check out the culinary arts offerings (including bites from local restaurants like Crepe du Jour and Cantina 76, plus wine + craft beer) and a huge range of live music repping the performing arts. We’ve never been more ready.
