The YMCA of Greenville’s Day of Giving is today, and it’s the perfect opportunity to help those in need.

Donations from our community have kept YMCA of Greenville open to promote a healthy spirit, mind and body for all in the community for the last 144 yearsand due to the negative effects that COVID-19 had on all nonprofits and businesses, raising funds today during the 2021 Day of Giving is more crucial than ever for the organization.

Funds donated through Day of Giving support not only financial assistance for those unable to pay for the Y’s programs and services, but also special initiatives like their COVID-19 relief efforts, including distributing food to at least 200 families per week, — specifically families considered the most vulnerable in our community — providing safe and essential childcare, virtual options for fitness and hosting blood drives at their branches to support the increased need for blood donations during the pandemic.

Donations allow the Y to serve all ages and abilities through year-round programs and camps, from swimming lessons to after school care.

To support the Y, donate today and renew your Y membership.
