Did you know? What began just as “Women’s History Week” on March 7, 1982, has now become Women’s History Month. Since 1995, presidents have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as a celebration of the contributions + specific achievements women have made to the US over the course of American history.

Flash forward to 2022, when the latest female-owned business stats reveal that there are currently 12.3 million women-owned businesses in the US. Mic drop.

To help you celebrate locally we’re rounding up eight women-owned businesses that you can support via Surcee. (We may have done a little shopping ourselves for “research.”) Note: These are just a few of the hundreds of women-owned businesses you can support in Greenville.
