Map of Wings of the City Sculptures

It feels like a lifetime ago that the Wings of the City sculptures were the talk of the town. Now, we’re talking about them again, but this time because the Hispanic Alliance, artist Jorge Marín, and the Mexican Consulate in Raleigh have worked together to launch the Wings of the City Photo Contest.

What’s the incentive? The winner gets a lithograph by Jorge Marín.

How to participate:

First, make sure you’re following @jorgemarinmx, @hispanicalliancesc, and @gvilleevents on Instagram.

Next, take a picture of yourself posing in front of any of the 9 Wings of the City sculptures.

Post that photo on Instagram using the #WingsoftheCityGVL hashtag.

Then, in the caption, include a word, phrase, or quote that conveys what that particular sculpture or the exhibit means to you.

May the best photo win. Good luck.
