For $75 in Greenville, you can buy a few apps for your friends at Up on the Roof or seven bags of Falls Park Blend from West End Coffee Roasters. All good options. Another $75 purchase that you can feel good about? A year-long membership in MAConnect, the yo-pro group of the Metropolitan Arts Council, which offers members the inside scoop on GVL’s local arts-scene.

MAConnect brings together local arts enthusiasts, artists + arts supporters in their 20s-40s through social events like the Open Studios Brunch and Bus Tour (complete with bloody mary’s and mimosas), curated First Fridays gallery crawls, and Scenic Sundays (new for 2019) – sneak previews of artists’ studios with wine + cheese. Members also get a MAC ArtCard, allowing one-time BOGO tickets to 7 local arts organizations (like the Peace Center).

Also included? Entrance to the upcoming, back-by-popular-demand MAConnect Mod Fête event happening on Saturday, June 1 from 7-10 p.m. at Artbomb Studios in the Village of West Greenville, featuring music by Darby Wilcox, drinks + food by Reeves Catering, and a $500 art raffle. 🎟️

In its second year, Mod Fête will offer a sneak peek into Artbomb Studios artists’ spaces (which only open to the public twice per year).

Entrance to Mod Fête is for MAConnect members only, so join online or at the door – but trust us, $75 goes a long way with this local buy.
