MustDo: 5th annual 90s jam party | Gottrocks | 9 p.m. | $12 at the door | Get ready to hear “this is my jam” on repeat from the crowd.

Theatre: Othello | Presented by Warehouse Theatre | Through August 6th | tickets $15 | 8 p.m. | The beginning of the company’s South Carolina tour with the Shakespeare tragedy.

  • A Man and his Prostate | Centre Stage | September 18 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. | Comedy Legend Ed Asner will put on his one-man show at Centre Stage. His travelling show will only be in town for one night, so get your tickets now. Call the box office at 864.233.6733 for tickets.

Dance: GVLX7: And We Danced | Hosted by the Greenville Lindy Hoppers | July 21st- 23rd | This is the 7th annual Greenville Lindy Exchange which is a swing dancing event with three bands, a modern room, soul party, and live performances.

Newbies: Dwell-Greenville newcomers social | OakBlue Kitchen | 6 – 8 p.m. | Enjoy happy hour specials and meet some new friends in town.

SATURDAY

  • Demo Days: Let’s go running | Brewery 85 | 1 – 4 p.m. | Vendors include New Balance, Fleet Feet, Greenville Rec and more
  • Christmas in July party | Swamp Rabbit Brewery and Taproom | 7 – 10 p.m. | Bring new, unopened dog & cat food and get $1 off per item (all food to be donated to local animal shelters) There will also be prizes for best summer Christmas attire so don’t forget to dress up.

Eat: Goat Roast | Southern Growl | 12 – 11 p.m. | In an effort to raise awareness about goat being a sustainable meat, Southern Growl is working with the Southern Goat Producers Association and Pristine Farms and Chef Joey to roast two goats, and serving them as Barbacoa Style Tacos with all the fixings and southern sides.
