MustDo: Shoeless Jam kicks off Friday + runs until Saturday night. Weekend headliners include The Hip Abduction, Tauk, and Stop Light Observations. Friday tickets are $12, Saturday $18 or buy weekend tickets for $25. Snag them here.

SATURDAY

History: Textile Heritage Festival | Hughes Main Library | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. | learn how Greenville was shaped by the textile mill industry + hear about community life in mill villages. This is the 11th year celebrating the Upstate’s deeply rooted history in textiles.

Run: GHS Battlemud Laurens County Mud Run | Saturday, August 26: Registration ends today | The four person event begins at the Laurens County YMCA and includes a timed two-mile run, plus 20 challenging obstacles. Fee: $100 per team of four. All teams must include at least one adult 18 years or older. | Register here.

Learn: Beginners White Water Kayak Clinic | Sunrift Adventures | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | $75, email to register

Culture: India Day presented by the India Association of Greenville | TD Stage at the Peace Center | 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. | Get a glimpse of India through unique traditions, culture, and modern day cuisines of modern day India.

Volunteer: Pulse Volunteers | A Child’s Haven: 20 Martin Dr. | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Join the Pulse crew in assisting A Child’s Haven with cleanup and maintenance before the new school year begins! We will wash buses, paint, and assist with grounds maintenance.

ForKids: Storytime with Miss Debi | M. Judson Booksellers & Storytellers | 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. | Meet in the kids nook where Chocolate Moose will provide treats for your little one.

Shop: Junior League of Greenville’s Nearly New Shop Fall Extravaganza | 118 Greenacre Rd. | 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. | They will have store-wide sales, gift certificate drawings, and the release of new items + all purchases are tax free and proceed go directly back to the Greenville community.


SUNDAY

Cause: Greenville Sports League Charity Cup | Legacy Pines Golf Course | Registration 12:30 p.m., shotgun start 1:30 p.m. | $75 per player and all Proceeds from the tournament will go to Greenville Parks and Recreation Youth Programs to support youth sports programming and equipment.
