Exciting news: A new therapy practice is now open in Greer.

With an established location in downtown Greenville (306A Mills Ave.), Lumin has been serving our community since 2020 — and now, its services are expanding.

Offering a modern approach to therapy, Lumin’s team includes therapists and career coaches working to help their clients feel grounded, joyful, successful, and in control. (Looking for a job in the field? Lumin is also expanding its team.)

This new location, located a mile away from Greer’s thriving downtown area, will provide services like:

  • Individual therapy for adults and adolescents
  • Career coaching
  • Community-building events for therapists
  • College admissions coaching services + workshops for students and parents

Did that last one catch your eye? The college application process can be significantly stressful for both students and parents, so Lumin’s coaching program will integrate a well-being component, providing therapy services and workshops to help students and families cope.

The space

Lumin’s approach to therapy extends to its space, with a physically calming environment designed to help clients feel relaxed and re-energized. The space also features art pieces from local artists, rotating throughout the year.

Lumin believes going to therapy should feel like going to your favorite coffee shop, a re-energizing experience in a physically calming environment.

The new Greer office boasts a modern aesthetic with 20-ft vaulted ceilings, resulting in a peaceful, airy, and light-filled look and feel. Clients are invited to come in early for their sessions to enjoy coffee, tea, and soft drinks.

The approach

With the tagline “Modern Therapy for Awesome People,” here are two big things to know about Lumin:

  • Lumin is not your typical therapy practice. Its team uses a fresh, down-to-earth, and positive approach to help professionals and motivated individuals confidently deal with life, work, and family.
  • Lumin is more than a therapy practice. It’s also a career coaching space for professionals and entrepreneurs to help them achieve wellness, success, and purpose.
