Wednesday, Jan. 28 update
✏️ Greenville County Schools is closed again on Wednesday, Jan. 28 with students doing eLearning — see how they made the call.
🚜 City of Greenville’s public works crews removed 17 truckloads of snow and ice from downtown overnight Tuesday, clearing main roads and shifting focus to side streets, pileups along the road, medians, and slick spots.
✈️ What did it take to get GSP back online after being closed to all arrivals and departures during the ice storm? Drone video captured the transformation.
📸 Last call to submit your photos for our gallery — think of it as a community scrapbook remembering the ice day fun.

- 0.25-1 inches of freezing rain accumulated — the most in the US
- 0.3-2 inches of snow fell
- 0.8-1.5 inches of sleet fell
✏️ Greenville County Schools will have an e-learning day on Tuesday, Jan. 27 and will make a decision on Wednesday, Jan. 28 on Tuesday afternoon.
🚜 The City of Greenville is asking drivers, pedestrians, and — unfortunately — sledders to stay off the streets due to heavy equipment and first responders on the roads.
✈️ Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is back online and operational as of Monday, Jan. 26.
