The comedy scene in Greenville is getting noticed – no really, BestThingSC highlighted three of Greenville’s comedy clubs in their list of The 10 Best Comedy Clubs in South Carolina. As always, the best way to find out is to check it out for yourself. (I have and was very impressed, especially for someone who isn’t super into comedy but likes a good laugh.)

This weekend, Chris Kattan (from Night at the Roxbury + Saturday Night Live) will be performing at The Comedy Zone. Get tickets here. If you’re not around this weekend, check out the whole comedy calendar here.
Pro tip: Comedy Zone has really great service but I would recommend grabbing a bite to eat from the pub downstairs before the show.

Alchemy Comedy Theater inside Coffee Underground has weekly improv shows including realtor-inspired comedy, stand-up meets improv, and plenty of classes if you’re interested in working on making people laugh.
Pro tip: Grab an adult milkshake from Coffee Underground before you snag a seat.

Cafe and Then Some is a dinner theatre that has been around since 1979 and holds shows every Wednesday – Saturday. Some past performances include localized popular faves like “Real Housewives of Oconee County” and “Miracle on 291 Bypass.”
Pro tip: If you go to one of the first shows, they give you a coupon to come back and watch it again (when they get the kinks worked out).
