ICYMI, the highly anticipated opening of The Commons was last month and we 👏 are 👏 pumped 👏.

If you haven’t made your way there yet, you’re missing out, but not to worry, we’re going to tell you exactly how you can #TryThis.

Experience:

📍 The Commons, 147 Welborn St.

Lots of seating available inside The Commons

This 12,000 sq. ft. food hall is an exciting new Greenville addition. The minute we walked in, we immediately noticed how organized the space was. From seating, to cleanliness, to lightingthe Commons was stunning. Although we weren’t able to visit every vendor, we made sure to take a stroll around the whole space.

What We Tried (with prices):

Grace

Automatic Taco | Veggie Taco + Papas Fritas ($7 total) 🥬

Paired well with an order of Papas Fritas, the Veggie Taco is packed – from kimchi to peppers on a bed of black beans. Tacos range from $4-$5.

Sarah

Methodical Coffee | Iced Tres Leches ☕ ($4.50)

In 2018, Methodical Coffee reported there were over 12,000 Tres Leches sold. (Are we surprised? No.) This sweet, milky coffee drink made the perfect morning pick me up. Drinks range from around $3-$5.

Mikayla

GB&D | Chicken Sando with Fries ($12 total) 🍟

The Chicken Sando is made on a warm house bun, the crispy fried chicken sits on a crisp bed of lettuce with lemon mayo, pickles + honey. Although the lunch menu changes everyday, menu items usually range from $4-$8 with the dinner menu a little more expensive. You can find updated menus on GB&D’s Instagram stories here. #Protip: ask for burger sauce to dip your fries in.

The Community Tap inside The Commons

Don’t Miss:

Grab a friend and a seat at the bar because the Community Tap is the perfect spot to catch up with a pal over a craft beer.

What We’re Still Talking About:

During peak lunch hour, naturally we expected long lines, claustrophobic crowds + cramped parking. We were pleasantly surprised to see how much planning went into making sure everyone could park safely + find a seat comfortably, and not have to wait too long for their food.

Up Next:

Methodical Coffee now has breakfast + lunch, from pastries to Smoked Salmon Tartine – and we’re super excited to try the menu. Also, make sure to keep an eye out for The Bakeroom, coming soon. 👀
