An exciting new mixed-use development is in the works near the Greenville Downtown Airport (GMU). Tower Drive is a 63,000 sq. ft. building housed on 14 acres adjacent to the runway. Starting spring 2021, it’ll be Greenville’s newest family friendly hub of “creativity, innovation, flavor, culture, and amusement.”

Here’s what we’re talking about: Tower Drive is the latest addition to an impressive list of ongoing projects in the Upstate. Managed by a team that includes Greg Cotton (former owner + operator of Taylors Mill), the space will soon be renovated into a community-oriented gathering space.

Tower Drive boasts an impressive list of offerings, ranging from a taproom and a gourmet food hall to an arcade + axe throwing. They also plan to be a destination for indoor + outdoor events (think concerts, movie showings, fitness events), so there will be plenty of space to gather including a rooftop deck and a grassy outdoor area.

We may also see offerings from local food + bev vendors – like Bridge City Coffee. Tower Drive took to Instagram to announce that the coffee shop would be opening a full cafe + roastery in the new development.

Located at 20 Tower Dr., the development is a stone’s throw away from GMU’s runway. The space is comprised of corporate offices + two large warehouses. Let’s take a look at the transformation (as outlined on their website).
