Thanksgiving festivity is in the air, and we’re feeling extra thankful this year. 🍂

We want to know what about Greenville you’re most grateful for – and to get the ball rolling, we’re sharing our answers first. Comment below + you might see your answer in an upcoming newsletter.

💌 Heather is thankful for:

I’m thankful for a welcoming city chock-full of Southern hospitality. No matter how much we grow, we never forget our roots and welcome others in to our little city.

I’m thankful for growth + redevelopment, and how our city continues to improve economically. In the future, I hope our city is even more unified and sees the perfect balance of historical + modern elements. Keep the old and keep the new.

I’m VERY thankful for Trappe Door’s cod + frites (with wasabi mayo, of course). If we could just bring back the Nicholas Sage drink, our future would be brighter than ever.

💌 Jordan is thankful for:

Our art-centric city that encourages people to explore something new through First Friday, Open Studios, and even just walking into a gallery along the RiverWalk and chatting with an artist.

I also love how close GVL is to so many amazing hiking trails – so I can take my dog Caly out to explore the wilderness any time. 🌿

💌 Kendall is thankful for:

The communities outside downtown Greenville – I grew up in Fountain Inn, and driving into downtown was more of a special occasion activity. I’m grateful for the cool little spots beyond Main St., like Exchange Co. in Simpsonville and Strossner’s off Woodruff Rd.

Now that I live downtown, I’m thankful for the new favorite places I’ve discovered there to make it feel like home (Bex Cafe, SnackWorks, and Otto Izakaya to name a few). And that GVL is a perfect balance of urban, small-town, artsy + modern. Everyone can find something to love.
