Nothing says Saturday morning in GVL like the TD Saturday market (presented by the Greenville Health System). Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer to bask in all the cheese + local produce on Main Street.

The first TD Saturday Market will be May 5, with 65 returning vendors (77 vendors total) like Beechwood Farms, Bellews Market, Sixteen Acre Wood, Spinning Spider Creamery, Swamp Rabbit Café & Grocery, and The Happy Berry.

TD Bank + the City of Greenville partnered for the TD Bank Bucks program (which funds local vendors’ market fees for the full season) and announced the winners: Jackson Farms II, Whispering Pine Farm and Merciful Hearts Farm. 🎉

This market is more than just produce + tasty pies: the Spuds + Sprouts program is an educational area for children to learn about some of the fresh fruits + veggies available at the market. They can even make agriculture-related crafts (which will turn into a great decoration for home). 😉

If you’re looking for a party, Lowes Foods Front Porch has free interactive activities, live music + culinary demonstrations. You can also catch young entrepreneurs showcasing + selling their work at their Youth Booth.

EBT cards are welcome at the market + shoppers who spend at least $5 on their EBT card will receive a free $10 token for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables.

The market will run every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon (May 5 to October 27). For even more info, click here.

More for alllllll the goodness we saw at last year’s market here.
