Southern Roots: the all-you-can-meat BBQ + music fest

Let the countdown begin for Southern Roots Reunion, an “all-you-can-meat” BBQ + music festival happening Sat., April 30 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m at Trailblazer Park.

Tapping into those home-roots vibes, the festival is bringing together local farmers, chefs + pitmasters to cook up a drool-worthy array of barbecued meats, seafood, fruits, and veggies, all cooked in different styles – and, yes, all bottomless. If the food isn’t front + center enough, the music will be, with live stage performances playing throughout the event.

A not-to-be-missed detail is that proceeds benefit IDefine, a nonprofit created by the festival director to help find a cure for Kleefstra Syndrome (from which his daughter suffers).
